Eligibility Requirements

Candidates interested in ISF Undergraduate Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Undergraduates only
  • Be of Iranian descent
  • Be enrolled or accepted at a four-year accredited university in the United States
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Possess and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Have participated in community service and continue to do so
  • Have a minimum SAT score of 1250 or 27 for ACT (if applying as a high school student)

How to Apply

Please take the time to read over the entire application, fill out the answer to every question, complete all pages, and upload all documents. Please take careful note of the additional information that is required. All pages and all information need to be complete in order to be considered for the scholarship.

  • Submit the complete application form
  • Submit a copy of the IRS form 4506 (see instructions in the application form)
  • Submit a completed essays outlined in the application
  • Transcripts from your high school and – if applicable – your undergraduate program as well
  • Two letters of recommendation
    • one letter from a teacher or professor
    • one letter from an organization where you have volunteered or worked
