ISF Scholarship sponsors

The Amin Arasteh Foundation and Iranian Scholarship Foundation have joined forces to offer Scholarships to exceptional student’s undergraduate, Graduate & PHD students. These students are chosen from a pool of candidates who meet all the ISF academic & financial requirements.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates interested in Amin Arasteh Foundation Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Be of Iranian descent
  • Undergraduates and graduates
  • Be enrolled or accepted at a top university school in the United States
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Possess and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Have participated in community service and continue to do so
  • Proof of legal immigration status in the United States
 

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates interested in Houri Moghadam Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Be of Iranian descent
  • Undergraduates and graduates
  • Be enrolled or accepted at a top technology school in the United States
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Possess and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Have participated in community service and continue to do so
  • Proof of legal immigration status in the United States
 

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates interested in Dr. Ali Jarrahi Merit Scholarship must:

  • Be of Iranian descent
  • Be enrolled or accepted one of the top universities in the United States
  • Possess and maintain a GPA of 4.0 or higher
  • Have a portfolio of community service
  • Proof of legal immigration status in the United States

How to Apply

It is the same application process for all scholarship applicants, with the only difference being that students applying for just the Dr. Ali Jarrahi Merit Scholarship need not provide financial information/tax returns as it is a merit-based application, not need based.

Candidates interested in Excellence in Community Service Scholarship must:

  • Be of Iranian descent
  • Be enrolled or accepted at a four-year accredited university in the United States
  • Possess and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Have a portfolio of community service
  • Proof of legal immigration status in the United States

How to Apply

A completed application that must be received by the June 30th deadline includes:

  • Completed application form
  • A 750-1000 word essay detailing your dreams and aspirations for your studies and career
  • Transcripts from all of your high school and – if applicable – your undergraduate programs as well, and
  • Three letters of recommendation
    • one letter from a teacher or professor
    • two letters from an organization where you have performed community service

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates interested in Heydayian Family Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Undergraduates only
  • Be of Iranian descent
  • Be enrolled or accepted at a four-year accredited university in the United States, intending to pursue an arts or humanity degree.
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Possess and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Have participated in community service and continue to do so
  • Proof of legal immigration status in the United States

How to Apply

It is the same application process for all scholarship applicants, with the only difference being that students applying for just the Heydayian Family Scholarship need not provide financial information/tax returns as it is a merit-based application, not need based.

The Ezzatollah Mansourkhani & Parvin Dordshikh Torkaman is funded by gifts from their grandchildren Mitra and Mani Akhtari, who are both previous recipients of ISF. The goal of the scholarship is to commemorate their grandparents’ commitment to lifelong education, reading, and learning. Since Mani and Mitra both cherished their education in public schools and universities, this scholarship was created to provide financial assistance to students of Iranian descent who attend public universities.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates interested in the Ezzatollah Mansourkhani & Parvin Dordshikh Torkama Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Same criteria as ISF Undergraduate scholarship
  • Undergraduates only
  • Be of Iranian descent
  • Demonstrate financial need- this scholarship is a need based scholarship.
  • Possess and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Have participated in community service and continue to do so
  • Proof of legal immigration status in the United States
  • Additional requirement
  • Be enrolled or accepted at a four-year public accredited university in the United States
